Rich Juricich is a Principal Water Resources Engineer with the California Department of Water Resources. He is part of the California Water Plan Update team and manages the Integrated Data & Analysis Branch, leading the Department’s efforts to integrate water management planning and analysis including maintaining SWAN, the Statewide Water Analysis Network, a group of technical experts from State, federal, local and non-governmental organizations formed to build consensus around the development of analytical tools. 
He has worked at DWR for over 16 years, which has included assignments working on DWR’s initial CALSIM water management system planning model development and working with local agencies to develop conjunctive management programs.Rich has a Master of Science Degree from the University of California, Davis in Hydrologic Sciences, and he has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Humboldt State University in Environmental Resources Engineering. He is registered as Professional Civil Engineer in State of California.
